this light is beautiful. laugh beneath the setting sun.
catch a flower on the run.
i'm a bit unusual. never one to feel at home.
the freeway there to let me roam.

time is on my side. the twinkling of an eye
and then its passed you by.
so i say, don’t let me leave this place

but you send me away, the third time in ten days
and you say, "i make you feel so sad."
i should escape, i should run for my life,
but i find you make me feel alright.

this sky is for the two of us. i wish i could be your man,
but you've been making other plans.
we’re gripped. And then it slips away.
fading out into the past, vanishing then free at last.
